During the creation of the Google Merchant Center account it is necessary to verify and claim the Web site through a series of options that you may remember in the post \"Errors in Merchant Center\" that we wrote a few months ago.\nThrough this procedure we make Google see that the Web site we want to associate to the Merchant account is really ours.\nA key point of Google's policies is that a Web can only be claimed by one Merchant Center account, but something very interesting is the possibility of making this claim not at account level but at Multi-Client Account level. But... How is it done, what do we get with this, for what kind of advertisers is it interesting?\nLet's go by parts as Jack said.... =)\nHow do we create an MCA or multi-client account in Merchant Center?\nTo create the MCA or Merchant Center Multi-Client Account you need to contact Google either through this form or directly by calling support. We recommend the latter option because they give you a faster response and they are \"very nice\".\nOnce we have our MCA it is as simple as creating a new account or linking an existing one (by calling Google Support).\nIn this case the claim and verification of the web domain would be done from the MCA itself, without accessing individually to each of the accounts.\nFrom the Company Information section we would fill in the Company Name and the Website, thus enabling the option to \"Verify and Claim\" the indicated website:\n\nFinally, at the level of each of the accounts that we create we would not need to verify and claim and we would establish as the Web site of each account the URL with the specific subdomain, for example geotelecom.com\/es and geotelecom.com\/fr. They should always be directed to the general domain verified and claimed from the MCA.\nWhat do we get and for what type of advertisers can a multi-client account be of interest?\nPractical example to understand it: we have verified and claimed at MCA level the web www.geotelecom.com .\nAnd then we have created 3 accounts oriented to our 3 subdomains: www.geotelecom.com\/es , www.geotelecom.com\/uk and www.geotelecom.com\/pt .\nAssuming that in Geotelecom we sell Burgos blood sausages, we could have the different country data feeds separated in different accounts despite being oriented to the same domain.\nOne of the clearest advantages of this functionality is to be able to establish a different Shopping advertiser name for each country, for example Geotelecom Spain, Geotelecom Uk and Geotelecom Portugal. It seems obvious and that if the domains were independent it would be easily achieved since the Merchant Center accounts must be independent for policy reasons, but for advertisers that have all the languages of the web \"hanging\" from the same domain this would be impossible by uploading all the feeds in the same account.\nIt can also be very useful if you want to keep a close eye on certain conflicting products, which if rejected would affect the entire store, thus isolating them in separate accounts.\nWe hope that the verification and claiming of a website at MCA level can make your life a little easier if your account has a similar profile to the one discussed in the post.\nIf you have any questions during the process, you know where to contact us!<\/p>","protected":false},"author":42,"featured_media":20429,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_seopress_titles_title":"","_seopress_titles_desc":"","_seopress_robots_index":"","_seopress_robots_follow":"","_seopress_robots_imageindex":"","_seopress_robots_snippet":"","_seopress_robots_primary_cat":"","_seopress_robots_breadcrumbs":"","_seopress_robots_freeze_modified_date":"","_seopress_robots_custom_modified_date":"","_seopress_robots_canonical":"","_seopress_social_fb_title":"","_seopress_social_fb_desc":"","_seopress_social_fb_img":"","_seopress_social_fb_img_attachment_id":0,"_seopress_social_fb_img_width":0,"_seopress_social_fb_img_height":0,"_seopress_social_twitter_title":"","_seopress_social_twitter_desc":"","_seopress_social_twitter_img":"","_seopress_social_twitter_img_attachment_id":0,"_seopress_social_twitter_img_width":0,"_seopress_social_twitter_img_height":0,"_seopress_redirections_value":"","_seopress_redirections_enabled":"","_seopress_redirections_enabled_regex":"","_seopress_redirections_logged_status":"","_seopress_redirections_param":"","_seopress_redirections_type":0,"_seopress_analysis_target_kw":"","footnotes":"","_members_access_role":[],"_members_access_error":""},"categories":[22],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-20426","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-marketing-online"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.geotelecom.mx\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/20426","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.geotelecom.mx\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.geotelecom.mx\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.geotelecom.mx\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/42"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.geotelecom.mx\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=20426"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/www.geotelecom.mx\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/20426\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":232130,"href":"https:\/\/www.geotelecom.mx\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/20426\/revisions\/232130"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.geotelecom.mx\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/20429"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.geotelecom.mx\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=20426"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.geotelecom.mx\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=20426"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.geotelecom.mx\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=20426"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
