NEW! PLA displacements

Just a few weeks ago, Google surprised us by increasing from 4 to 6  product sheets in the search results, today we have been able to see up to 17 products in the SERP. How is this possible? Google has included a arrow on the right side of the product sheets which allows us to scroll the first 6 products displayed to see 6 different ones, and so on up to two times (that we have been able to see).  

What will be new with this change?

The first thing to analyze is whether or not people get used to doing this sideways scrolling. If the fact of removing search ads from the right side of the SERP meant, as expected, an increase in CPCs, we can now assume that CPCs on the right side of the SERP will increase. Google Shopping The price you pay to appear on the results page will not be so high, so you will not have to pay such a high price.

We would also have to ask Google if the impression will count when the first 6 products appear for the 17 that follow or, on the contrary, it will count them according to this kind of side scroll. Personally, we believe that, as is already the case in the Display Network, the impression will not be effective until our product listing can be seen.

This improvement could signal the beginning of a period of upgrades in the Shopping Network We will now have to be very attentive to discover all the new features that will emerge and be able to get the most out of our campaigns.
